Behind the bandname Document 6 stands the „sixth document“ of the „Dresden Codex“ which describes the existence of Ah Puch (a demon) in the Mayan culture.
The Dresden Codex is the oldest and most important book of the Mayan culture. Ah puch (also called Ah ouh puc) was a Mayan demon commonly depicted as a skeleton with a crocodile back. This representation can be found on the cove of the album „Grind (r)evolution“ again.
The Dresden Codex consists of 39 double-sided leaves of fig tree bark, originally folded as a leporello, strips with a total length of 3.56 meters.
It contains various almanacs, divination calendars, astronomical tablets, ritual regulations, and numerous representations of deities, and is a key document for Mayan hieroglyphics and Mayan astronomy and chronology.
He was the demon of destruction and under the name of Uac mitun ahau he was also considered the „Lord of the six hells“. Ah puch was accompanied by a dog (as a sign of loyalty) and the Moan bird (an owl-like mythical cloud demon as a sign of knowledge).

Begleitet wurde Ah puch von einem Hund (als Zeichen der Loyalität) und dem Moan-Vogel (einem eulenähnlichem mythischem Wolkendämon als Zeichen des Wissens)
